Convergent Sales Strategies' Code of Ethics
We will serve our clients with integrity, objectivity, competence, and independence. We are a fee-for-service professional consultancy.
We will never accept any direct or indirect payment for any third party products or services that we may recommend to our clients without your knowledge.
We will only accept assignments for which our Team and Industry Partners
possess the requisite experience and competence.
We will clearly communicate to our clients the benefits they can realistically
expect to receive when they agree to engage our services.
Before accepting any engagement, we will ensure that we have established a mutual
understanding of the project objectives, scope, work plan, and fee arrangements.
We will execute Mutual Non-disclosure Agreements with clients to appropriately safeguard all confidential client information that is not in the public domain. We will take reasonable steps to prevent access to any sensitive or proprietary information by unauthorized individuals. We will not take advantage of proprietary or privileged information, for use either internally or externally without our client's permission.
We will avoid conflicts of interest or the appearance of such and will immediately disclose to our client any situation that may potentially influence our judgment or objectivity. We will not accept an assignment from a competing firm while under contract with a client.
We will offer to withdraw from a consulting assignment at any time should it become evident that our objectivity or integrity has become impaired or presents the appearance of being impaired.
We will refrain from inviting an employee of an active or inactive client to consider alternative employment with us without prior discussion with the client.
"In looking for people to hire, look for three qualities:
Integrity, Intelligence, and Energy.
And, if they don't have the first, the other two will kill you.
